Who did not know Brianna, popularly called Bri in Kwei town?

She was the talk of the town, her bright hair colours that could be seen afar off, her loud rainbow colour make-up, her strange style of dressing that will surely get your neck to turn when she passed and her loud voice that could wake the dead.

Indeed! She was a loud one, no quiet time with Bri, she was the life of the party, the threat to the town, the problem to her neighbours, every trouble you could possibly think of.

With all of these loudness, she was a philanthropist, no one really understood how this trouble could bring joy, just like having a bottle containing dirty and clean water.

Bri would wake in the morning with her loud singing voice shaking her apartment and causing her neighbours to curse and swear, wishing they never knew her, praying she die or just get lost somewhere.

After her morning rituals, she would go to the market to sell and snatch all the customers because of her funny dance steps, a strategy she used to get buyers to her side.

Bri never failed to visit the down part of the street where homeless children stayed to give food to the children from the money she got from the market. She would stay with them, sing, dance and tell stories to keep them company.

On one occasion, one of the children had an asthmatic attack and Bri took the child to the hospital, stayed overnight to ensure the child was safe, providing all the medical needs.

But one morning, strangely everywhere was quiet, no one heard Bri singing, no one saw Bri dancing at the market, the children did not see Bri that evening. It felt good to finally get a breath of fresh air for her neighbours and fellow market sellers, everyone rejoiced saying "she is finally tired and has gone to rest", they were somehow correct.

After a week of her absence, Bri's neighbour started perceiving a fowl smell and no one knew where it came from, the smell was traced to Bri's apartment.

They noticed that her door was slightly opened and so they got in and to their surprise Bri laid on the ground motionless, she had gone to rest.

Report went round the town that Bri had cancer of the breast and had just a month to live, she was aware of this and for this reason decided to sing as loud as she could, dance as hard as she could and give her all before her last breath. If they knew, they would have been kind to her.
